Este lunes 14 se llevará a cabo la 78° edición de los Premios Emmy 2026. La gala será en el Peacock Theater en Los Ángeles y se transmitirá por TNT y por HBO Max desde las 20. Mientras que los premios técnicos y creativos se entregaron el fin de semana pasado, la semana próxima se realizará la gran gala.

En la edición 2025 de los premios, se consagraron como las mejores series “The Pitt”, de HBO Max en la categoría drama y “The Studio”; de Apple TV+, en la categoría comedia. “Adolescence” se quedó con el premio por mejor miniserie y la mejor película para TV fue "Rebel Ridge", ambas de Netflix.

También se entregaron estatuillas a los artistas destacados de la temporada. Britt Lower, por "Severance" y Noah Wyle, por "The Pitt" fueron elegidos como mejores actores principales en drama. Jean Smart, por "Hacks" y Seth Rogen por "The Studio", como los mejores en comedia. Adam Randall fue considerado el mejor director del ciclo por la serie "Slow Horses" en drama y, Rogen y Evan Goldberg, por la serie "The Studio" en comedia.
